Understanding the Options Screen
The HYDROS App has global options configured based on the region, time, and hobbyist preferences.
To access the OPTIONS page:
- Go to your device’s STATUS screen.
- Tap on the upper-left-hand-corner horizontal bars and tap on OPTIONS
Available Options:
- Temperature Format: This allows you to select between Celsius and Fahrenheit scales.
- Volume Unit: This allows you to specify the volume units for your HYDROS.
- Alkalinity Unit: This allows you to select between dKH, ppm, and meq/L.
- Time Zone: Here, you can select your region’s time zone.
- Mode Control Input: When connecting the HYDROS to a 3rd Party Controller, this specifies which of the four available 0-10V INPUTS connects to the 3rd party controller.
EXAMPLE: If you want to attach the WaveEngine to another controller’s variable speed port, here you specify which port # it is connected to. It would allow you to set the other controller to feed mode, and the WaveEngine would immediately change to Feeding Mode.
- Party Mode: Additional Light Patterns to fit different holidays.
- LED Mode: This allows you to select two types of lighting schema when the HYDROS is running.
- LED On Time: This allows you to specify the time of the day when the LED MODE will activate.
- LED Off Time: This allows you to specify the time of the day when the LED MODE will deactivate.
- Low Power Exit Delay: This allows you to specify a delay time for the Control unit to wait before changing back to Normal AFTER the power has returned.
- Low Power Mode: This allows you to specify which mode the Control will run when the power is out, and the Control is running off battery power.
- WaveEngine Enable EcoTechtm Pumps: It allows you to enable EcoTech mode to pair new pumps and see the different EcoTech pump tiles on the Status screen.
- WaveEngine EcoTechTM Pairing Mode: You can set the WaveEngine into pairing mode to add your EcoTech pumps.
- Email Notification Level: Select which alarm level will send an email when triggered.
- Push Notification Level: Select which alarm level will send a push notification when triggered.
- Audible Notification Level: Select which alarm level will trigger the local alarm.
- Disable Cloud Monitoring: If your HYDROS devices are not connected to WiFi and the internet 24/7, you can prevent “Device X Not Connected to Cloud” notifications by enabling this feature.
- Resend Notification After: How long before the controller sends you a repeat notification for the same warning?
