HYDROS Triple Optical Water Level Sensor

The HYDROS Triple Optical Water Level Sensor uses three optical sensors to measure aquarium or ATO reservoir water levels accurately without contact. It has three separate optical sensors, providing more precise and accurate readings at different water levels. The device plugs into any Sense Port on a HYDROS device and does not require additional power.

The HYDROS Triple Optical Water Level Sensor is an easy and affordable way to monitor the water level in your aquarium so you can keep it within the safe zone for fish, coral, and inverts.

Sense Port Accessory Highlights:

Three Sensor Operation

For Added Redundancy

When the water level in the sump or aquarium drops below the LOW LEVEL (3) on the sensor, it will fill the water till it reaches NORMAL LEVEL (2).

SAFETY LEVEL SENSOR (1) is a backup to shut down the feed pump in case of a malfunction; in this case, an alarm can be triggered.

HYDROS Triple Optical Water Level Sensor

The HYDROS Water Level Sensor is a “set it and forget it” water level monitor that requires no calibration or maintenance (except for perhaps the occasional cleaning). The sensor has a long cord with a GX12 aviation-style connector that plugs into any Sense Port on a HYDROS controller. You can use multiple water level sensors on your system for safety and redundancy. For example, you can place one in your display aquarium and another in your sump. This can be helpful if your sump is in your basement while the display tank is on another floor of the house. The water level sensor is completely submersible so you can easily place it somewhere discreet, like in the back of an all-in-one aquarium, in the overflow, or tucked away in one of the chambers of your sump.

There are various ways to utilize the HYDROS Water Level Sensor effectively. One of the possible uses is to set them up as high and low-level sensors, which will allow automatic top-off systems to function. Another practical application is to place these sensors in dosing containers, which will ensure an accurate and precise dosage of chemicals. Moreover, these sensors can prevent equipment from running dry by cutting power to an outlet when the sensor is triggered. The sensors are not only easy to install but also convenient to move and maintain due to their user-friendly design.

Each HYDROS Triple Optical Water Level Sensor has a GX12 aviation-style connector that securely plugs into any HYDROS device with an available Sense Port and DOES NOT require any additional power source to operate.
