The Smart Plug allows you to control multiple devices from a single app. For example, you can use one to power your display tank heater, another for your return pump, and a third for your office lamp as an alert if a device is not operating normally. There are so many ways to use the HYDROS WiFi Smart Plug.
If an outlet loses WiFi connection or fails, you’ll receive alerts on your mobile device. This safety feature can prevent tank catastrophes.
For example, if the outlet powering your return pump failed, you would receive a notification to let you know something is awry so that you can take corrective action. As a temporary fix, you can turn on all your flow pumps and increase their speed remotely via the HYDROS app to keep the water moving and the temperature stable until you can arrive home to investigate.
