HYDROS Online Manual HYDROS Control Add Water Change Schedule

Add Water Change Schedule

The schedule is the “Action” part of the Automatic Water Change Output.  Without a schedule, the AWC will never run automatically.

Step 1: Create a New Schedule

  • From the main menu, tap on “SCHEDULES.”
  • Tap on the + symbol at the bottom right and enter your Presets name.
  • Tap Create

Step 2: Configure the Schedule

  • Type: Select “Water Change Regimen”
  • Water Change Count: In this field, you specify the number of water changes evenly spaced out between the AWC Start and End Times defined below.
TIP: The count defines the STARTING time of the water change.  If you set the count to 1 and the Start and End time range is 24 hours, the water change will start at midnight.  It will NOT slowly run for the span of 24 hours.
  • AWC Output:  In this field, you select the previously created AWC Output.
  • AWC Active in Modes: Select the modes you want the AWC to “automatically” trigger.  Do not select the mode you want to use for MANUAL water changes.
TIP: We recommend using the Normal mode in this case, so the AWC triggers during normal day-to-day times.
  • AWC Start Time: This is the time when the controller triggers the first AWC of the schedule.  If you only have 1 “Water Change Count,” then this is the time when that AWC starts.
  • AWC End Time: This establishes the end of the time range for multiple triggers to activate.  If you only have one “Water  Change Count,” then this field becomes irrelevant.  If you have multiple Water Change Counts, the system will take the starting and ending time range and divide it equally by the Water Change Counts’ number.
  • AWC Run Every N Days – This feature allows you to start the AWC every X number of days.
TIP: If you want the AWC to run every day, then leave this set to One.  Two means every other day.  Three means every three days.  10 means every 10 days. As soon as you slide to select a number, the app will show you the STARTING date of the interval.
  • AWC Run on Days of Week – This feature allows you to select which specific days of the week you want the AWC Schedule to run.
TIP: Blue circle means the day IS selected.
  • AWC Depends On – This feature allows you to turn the SCHEDULE off based on the status of another output.  To enable, select from the list of available outputs.
TIP: Since your AWC is also your ATO, this option will disable the AWC but leave the ATO part of the output enabled.  When OFF, only the AWC part of the output will be disabled.  The ATO part of the output will continue to run normally.
    • OFF if OFF: Will turn the schedule OFF if the output it depends on is OFF
    • OFF if ON: Will turn the schedule OFF when the output it depends on is ON

Step 3: Save your changes

  • Tap on the yellow band at the bottom to upload your changes.
