Firmware Mismatch Warning

When encountering a ‘Firmware Mismatch’ warning on HYDROS app, it indicates that one or more devices in the collective have different firmware than the rest.

There are a couple of reasons why the latest firmware may not have been downloaded and installed onto your device.

  1. One possibility is that your device is not connected to the internet or was temporarily disconnected from the cloud during the download attempt.
  2. Alternatively, it is possible that your device did not complete the firmware installation process as expected and simply reverted to the previous firmware version.

Step 1: Check Cloud Connectivity

  • To check if your device is connected to the cloud, you can go to Device Properties. You can access it by tapping on the upper right-hand corner of the status screen and selecting Device Properties.
  • Once there, look for the WiFi symbol on the left side of your device’s name. If it’s green, your device is connected to the cloud, and you can proceed to step 2 below.
  • However, it is not connected if it’s yellow or red. You can reboot your device to establish a connection to fix this issue.
