XP8 AC Outlet LED Colors
The XP8 has LEDs on its outer edge that change colors based on the AC outlet’s status and power load. This feature helps users quickly determine each outlet’s availability, ON/OFF status, and overload status by glancing at the XP8 device.
- LED OFF: This means the outlet is NOT configured and open. It is a free outlet.
- BLUE: The outlet is configured but currently in OFF mode.
- GREEN: The outlet is configured and currently in ON mode.
- YELLOW: It is currently ON, but its power draw is near the top range. It is still safe, but it is close to the high limit.
- RED: The XP8 outlet is currently overloaded because a device is drawing more than the 8A limit. We recommend disconnecting the offending device immediately to prevent permanent damage.
