Add Focustronic Connection

The HYDROS Control can seamlessly integrate with Focustronic. In contrast to other controllers available, it can directly access Focustronic readings from the cloud, eliminating the need for a cumbersome and outdated pH port connection.

Here is what you’ll need to get started:

• Running a Focustronic machine fully connected to the cloud
• Username and password for your Focustronic cloud account (https://alkatronic.focustronic.com)

Step 1: Create a Focustronic 3rd-Party Device

• From the app’s STATUS screen, tap on the three horizontal dots to the right of the 3RD PARTY DEVS label and select “Add / Edit 3rd Party Device.”
• Tap on the + symbol in the bottom-right corner.
• Type the Device’s name. We recommend using “Focustronic” and tapping on “Create.”
• Family: Tester
• Type: Focustronic Device.

Step 2: Connect HYDROS to the Focustronic Cloud

• Model: Select your Focustronic device.
  • Tap on “Connect” and then tap on “Continue.”
  • The app will open a browsing page and take you to Focustronic’s Cloud login page. Enter your Focustronic Cloud credentials and tap on “Log in.”
  • Tap on “Continue” to authorize CoralVue and HYDROS to read your Focustronic readings.
  • Once you see the confirmation page, return to the HYDROS app and tap “Continue.”

Step 3: Define the Focustronic Device

• Get Focustronic Serial Numbers: Tap on Connect to obtain the list of Focustronic serial numbers. Next, select the serial number of the device you wish to add.
• Serial Number: Here, you select the serial number of your Focustronic machine.  
• Is Invisible: If you choose to hide the input from the status screen, it will only become visible on pages that have “Show Invisible” selected.

Step 4: Upload the Changes

After configuring the input, tap the yellow bar at the bottom to upload your changes to the cloud and each HYDROS device.
