Understanding the Status Screen

This screen allows you to view relevant information about your WaveEngine.  It allows you to view details for all your Inputs and Outputs.

What is an Input? An Input is a device that sends information to your WaveEngine. Examples of Inputs 0-10V connections such as other controllers, buttons and switches, and 0-10V sensors. All of these types of devices send information to the WaveEngine and it interprets and either will display information for you to see or they can notify you if something isn’t right.

What is an Output? An Output is a place where power or information leaves a system. Examples of Outputs for the WaveEngine would be a flow pump connected to a drive port, a pump or light fixture connected to a 0-10V output channel, or a wireless pump such as EcoTech pumps.

CONTROL Details

At the top of the screen, you can view running details about your Control unit, such as:

  • Internal Temperature: This is the temperature of the processing chip inside your control unit
  • Bus Voltage: If you have several Control units connected, this will show you the voltage being transferred over the Command Bus cable
  • Bux Current: If you have several Control units connected, this will show you the current being transferred over the Command Bus cable

MODES Section

Below the Control details, you will find the Modes Section to see all available modes.  To the right of the MODES label, you can see the name of the active mode.  

How to activate a Mode

You can activate a mode using two different methods:

  • Tap on the three horizontal dots to the right of the MODES label and select the mode you want to activate
  • Tap on the tile to quickly activate a mode.  The active mode will display as a BLUE.

INPUTS Section

Here you have a list of all available inputs (0-10V Inputs).  To change the view on the inputs, tap on the three horizontal dots to the right of the INPUTS label, and select from:

  • View Graph
  • View Tile
  • View Text

If the input is blue, then the readings are within acceptable range. If the input is red, then the readings are outside the acceptable range, or the Control cannot get a reading.  In this case, if enabled, a notification will be sent to you. 

How to edit an Input

You can edit an input by tapping on the square tile, name, or graph.

OUTPUTS Section

Here you have a list of all available outputs.  To change the view, tap on the three horizontal dots to the right of the OUTPUTS label and select from:

  • View Tile
  • View Text

If the output is blue, then the output is “auto” ON. If the input is GRAY, then the output is “auto” OFF.  If the output is yellow, then the output is MANUALLY overwritten ON or OFF.  If the output is RED, then there is an issue with the outlet.   In this case, if enabled, a notification will be sent to you.
