Bad SD Card

Sometimes, if HYDROS cannot detect the SD card, it will show an error.  The cause of the issue could be any of the following:

  • SD card became corrupt during an upload or power outage
  • SD needs to be reseated
  • SD card is missing

If your HYDROS Device shows a “Bad SD Card,” here is what you can do:

Option 1: Remove/Reseat/Replace the SD card

  1. Power down the HYDROS unit
  2. Remove the screws from the lid and pull off the lid and PCB board
  3. Check if the SD card is present
    1. If present, remove the SD card and install it again.
      1. Power the unit back up and check to see if the error remains
    2. If “a” did not work, replace the SD card with a “temporary” micro SD card (any capacity will work)
      1. Power the unit back up and check to see if the error remains
