Sometimes, after setup, you might notice that a pump displays the error “Pump Locked, Stuck in Closed Loop.” This could be caused by any of the following issues:
If you have connected a physical pump to a Direct Drive Port but you are still getting the same error, it may be the controller expecting a different pump. If your HYDROS WaveEngine is expecting an IceCap Gyre 2000 but you are connecting an IceCap Gyre 4000, the controller will error out. To fix this problem, simply:
Sometimes, you get the error even if you have a physical pump connected to the terminal AND the pump type matches the physical pump. In this case, the problem may be the connection between the pump cable and the short 6″ connector attached to the controller.
Disconnect the two and reconnect them making sure that the pins line up correctly AND none of the pins are bent out of place.
