Hurricane Schedule

The primary functions of flow are to keep oxygen and nutrient-rich water flowing around the corals and to prevent detritus from settling and decaying before mechanical filtration has an opportunity to remove it.

The WaveEngine is capable of repeatedly ramp up flow pumps to achieve a cleaner aquarium system, which will encourage healthy growing corals and help remove nutrients.

Here is one of the “CoralVue Favorite” schedules.

This schedule will allow you to run all your pumps at max speed for 10 minutes at the top of every hour from 010:00 am until 10:00 pm.
