Breathing Yellow

If the HYDROS unit is breathing yellow, it means that the HYDROS is unable to connect to the internet and access the HYDROS Cloud.

Step 1: Restart your Router

  • Restart your router and access points (if used), wait for your internet connection to come back.  Make sure that you are able to browse the internet after you restarted the router.
  • After the router is fully restarted and you have internet access, power cycle (restart) the HYDROS Device by unplugging the power supply cable DIRECTLY from the HYDROS device

If the connection is successful, the HYDROS Device will restart and the LED lights will show a combination of BLUE, GREEN, and WHITE or just regular BLUE.

If the HYDROS Device continues breathing yellow, then proceed to Step 2 below.

Step 2: Reregister your HYDROS Device

Sometimes, the setup may not complete correctly.  Sometimes, the HYDROS Device is successfully connected to your WiFi network, BUT it fails to register with the cloud.  If this happens, do the following:

  1. Restart the HYDROS Device by unplugging the power supply cable DIRECTLY from the HYDROS Device and wait for it to breathe YELLOW.
  2. Make sure your phone is connected to your home WiFi and open the HYDROS app.
  3. Tap on the three horizontal bars on the upper left-hand corner to enter the main menu.
  4. To the right of the top icons, tap on the “Plus” symbol.
  5. In the “Configure HYDROS Device” page, tap on the “Refresh” button a couple of times, and select your HYDROS Device.
  6. Reselect your WiFi name.
  7. On the WiFi configurations, DO NOT fill in any of the fields, scroll down and tap on “SKIP.”
  8. Tap on Continue on the next page, and the HYDROS Device should start to register on the cloud.

If the connection is successful, the HYDROS Device will restart and the LED lights will show a combination of BLUE, GREEN, and WHITE or just regular BLUE.
