Backup & Restore

The HYDROS app allows you to safely backup your configuration for future safeguard. Besides offering you the option to backup your configuration to a local computer, the HYDROS system automatically uploads your entire configuration to an Amazon Web Server every time you make a change. And, if that was not enough, the HYDROS system keeps a copy of 20 of your past configuration changes so you can quickly restore a version should you need to.

Cloud Backups

The HYDROS system has a feature called Archive. Any time you upload a change to your unit, it automatically saves a copy of your configuration’s previous version on the cloud. The backup files are specific to a unit’s serial number. It means that if you are trying to replace a unit with a different unit, you cannot use this version first. You need to do a “Local Backup” first. If you are trying to restore the same unit to a previous version, proceed below.
