Understanding Controller LEDs

The IceCap Controller comes equipped with easy-to-see LED lights that glance at the controller’s different statuses.  

STATUS LED: This is the light on the upper left-hand corner, and it shows the unit’s WiFi and Cloud connection status.

  • GREEN – the Controller is connected to WiFi and the HYDROS Cloud
  • Breathing YELLOW – The controller is connected to your home WiFi, but it cannot connect to the cloud.  (see Breathing Yellow in Troubleshooting section)
  • Breathing RED – The controller is unable to connect to your home WiFi.  (see Breathing Red in Troubleshooting section)

MODE LED: This is the light on the upper right-hand corner and lets you know the running mode of the controller.  

  • BLUE – This is the Normal 24/7 default Mode for the controller.

PUMP LEDS: These lights let you know the status of your running pumps.

  • YELLOW – The pump is running in the forward direction
  • RED – The pump is experiencing an error.  Check the pump itself to make sure that it is not jammed.
