Constant Speed Mode delivers a constant stream of flow at an intensity you choose. Your pump will run continuously at a constant speed. Just select the percent intensity you want to run the pump at.
Four Square Mode is a high-energy flow mode ideal for aquariums with a pump in each corner. Pumps will ramp up and down quickly, then move from pump-to-pump in a square pattern for complete water circulation.
Gyre Flow Mode uses multiple pumps to produce a clockwise or counterclockwise pattern for complete water circulation in your aquarium. Flow is evenly distributed throughout the tank to eliminate dead spots.
LPS Reef Mode is for Large Polyp Stony corals that prefer moderate variable flow. Corals will sway like Mother Nature intended rather than be forcefully blasted. The gentle currents simulate a low-energy environment.
Nutrient Export Mode generates waves to stir up detritus. Then a sudden and powerful forward movement is produced to flush debris and nutrients out of your aquarium and into your filtration system.
Ocean Swell Mode creates a high-energy environment. The flow alternates between turbulent and tranquil. The pattern then moves into Nutrient Export briefly before repeating the cycle from the other direction.
Random Mode automatically changes pump speeds from high and low to everything in between. These ever-changing conditions help lift and suspend detritus and other debris so your filtration can remove them.
SPS Reef Mode is for Small Polyp Stony corals that prefer high variable flow. This setting creates a high-energy environment with random small and large changes in intensity to simulate waves and tides.
Sine Wave Mode produces a continuous oscillating wave pattern. Uniform highs and lows generate an attractive back-and-forth motion inside your aquarium. You can even adjust the pulse intervals to your liking.
Square Wave Mode pulses pumps up and down quickly. You can use this setting to create a standing wave that moves back and forth, just like the ocean. This is a high-energy mode that works best using multiple pumps.
Triangle Wave Mode is similar to Square Wave, but more gentle. Pumps ramp up slowly and use less power to create a low-energy environment. There is less wave action, but there is also less wear and tear on pumps.
