A trigger is a timed event. A trigger is linked to a Mode and will execute a Preset at a set time or multiple times.
There are two different types of Triggers.
Basic Trigger
It starts at the time of day specified and is active forever unless another trigger replaces it. So if you have a Basic trigger “Day” set to 08:00 and another Basic trigger “Night” set to 10:00, Trigger Day will run from 08:00 to 10:00, and trigger Night will run from 10:00 until 08:00 the next day.
EXAMPLE: Here is an example of Basic trigger Day and Night.

Trigger Night
- Group: 1
- Time of Day: 22:00:00
- Mode: Normal
- Preset: Night
Repeating Trigger
This type of trigger ALWAYS has a higher priority than Basic triggers.
EXAMPLE: An example is the “Hurricane” trigger. It will run a preset “Hurricane” for 10 minutes at the top of every hour 12 consecutive times. It means it will run from 08:00 to 20:00.

Step 1: Create a new trigger
- Go to Main Menu and select TRIGGERS.
- Tap on the + symbol at the bottom right and name the Trigger “Normal.”
Step 2: Configure your new trigger
- TYPE – Select the type of trigger you wish to create – Basic or Repeating.
- GROUP – This allows you to select which group of pumps the trigger will apply.
- STARTING TIME OF DAY – It specifies the starting time of the trigger
EXAMPLE: If you want the trigger to start at 8 am, then STARTING TIME OF DAY = 08:00. If you want the trigger to start at midnight, then STARTING TIME OF DAY = 00:00 - MODE – It specifies which Mode this trigger will run under
- RUN TIME (Repeating) – This specifies HOW LONG a selected preset will run
EXAMPLE: If you want the pumps to run “Some” preset for 10 minutes, every hour, then your RUN TIME = 10 min - RUN COUNT (Repeating) – This specifies HOW MANY TIMES the “RUN INTERVAL” will consecutively repeat
EXAMPLE: If you want the pumps to run “Some” preset for 10 minutes, every hour, from 8 am to 10 pm, then your RUN COUNT = 14 - RUN INTERVAL (Repeating) – This is the sum of the RUN TIME, plus the OFF time BEFORE it repeats itself
EXAMPLE: If you want the pumps to run “Some” preset for 10 minutes, every hour, then your RUN INTERVAL = 60 min - PRESET: It specifies which PRESET to execute
EXAMPLE: If you want the pumps to run “Some” preset for 10 minutes, every hour, from 8 am to 10 pm, then your PRESET = “Some”
Step 3: Save your changes
- Tap on the yellow bar at the bottom of the screen to upload your changes.
You are all set. At this time, since you have already added a pump and created a preset, your flow pumps should start to run.
