The HYDROS app allows customers to use biometrics for higher security and convenience. You can use Face ID and Unlock depending on your mobile device maker.
To enable biometric login on the HYDROS app, you must have the following:
- Have your HYDROS login credentials – username/email and password
- Install the latest version of the HYDROS app
Enable Biometrics
On the HYDROS Cloud login page, you must:
- Enter your email address and password.
- Check “Enable Biometric login.”
- Tap on the Login button.
Use Username and Password Instead of Biometric
If you decide you would like to revert to typing your username and password, do the following:
- Navigate to the STATUS screen using biometrics after logging in to the HYDROS app. Then, tap the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner and select “Account Settings.”
- Under “Security,” tap on “Biometric Authentication.”
- Disable “Use Biometric Authentication”
Erase Biometric Credentials
To permanently disable and erase all biometric credentials, please do the following:
- Navigate to the STATUS screen using biometrics after logging in to the HYDROS app. Then, tap the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner and select “Account Settings.”
- Under “Security,” tap on “Biometric Authentication.”
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap on “Clear Stored Credentials.”
- Confirm the decision.
